Drift
Drift is an exploration into painted representational space. It
examines the expectation and potential of spaces within the urban
environment. The paintings cast the viewer as participant within a
familiar scene and witness to a singular moment within a daily
experience. Composition and paint application simplify and amplify
physical and remembered experiences of spaces.

Eclipse
An eclipse does not solely veil or obliterate an object or
light-source – certain objects pushed into the background allow
other, previously unseen, objects to be revealed; and shapes and
shadows mutate as the light source changes. These new works explore
what is hidden and what is revealed by the layering of paint,
focusing particularly on the transparent and opaque qualities of
layers of white paint in an image, below, between and above other
layers.
