Beverley Veasey
-'Natural History II' and 'Habitats'
A selection of photographs from two recent series, and following
up her 'Natural History I' exhibition at Johnston in 2006. Veasey
explores the poignant contemporary issues such as the ongoing
decline of biodiversity, prompting the viewer to reflect about the
impact of industry and human domination on natural habitats and
consequently various species of animals.
Veasey is a photography lecturer at the National Art School,
Sydney. |

Darren Sylvester - recent work
A series of new images which explore social ironies in
Sylvester's signature hyper-realist style. This exhibition comes
soon after a 10 year survey exhibition of his work at the Australian
Centre for Photography in Sydney. |
